Los Angeles Weekend - Day 1: Whoops We're in Vegas

Day 1

Tanner and I went out to Winnipeg this morning to fly out to LA. Unfortunately, our flight got delayed so we missed our connecting flight out of Vancouver. They didn't have any more Vancouver to Los Angelos flights for the weekend so we decided to take a flight to Las Vegas for the night, and then we can fly to LA in the morning.

We flew into Las Vegas and went straight to the hotel to drop off our bags. Since its a Friday, last minute, in Vegas, almost all of the hotels were booked so we ended up with a $600 a night room at Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall. It was super cool being there and definitely worth the price tag; they had a waterfall in the lobby!

Once we dropped our bags off we took an Uber to the Flamingo Las Vegas. We walked around inside for a while before heading outside and walking around for a while.

We saw Venice, Rome, Paris, New York, and Cairo all in Las Vegas! We walked the strip for a few hours before returning to the hotel to get an hour or two or rest. Out flight to LA is super early and we've been up almost all night so its definitely bedtime.
