Los Angeles Weekend - Day 2: Our Day in LA
Day 2
We got up after two hours of rest in our hotel and went to the airport. We got there as quick as we could and ran through the airport, but still managed to almost miss our flight. Tanner ran to the gate and talked to the agent until I could make it over; she told us if we would have come one minute later the gate would have been closed, but they let us board and we flew into LAX.
Once we were in California, we went straight to our Airbnb in Alhambra for some rest. We slept for a few hours before ordering some food. Tanner got Chipotle and I got Chick-fil-a!
After we ate lunch, we took an Uber over to Venice Beach, my favourite spot in LA. We walked along the beach until we were picked up by one of the bikers giving rides between the beaches. He took us to the edge of Santa Monica Beach, and we walked up to the pier.
On Santa Monica Pier, Tanner and I took some photos and then headed over to Pacific Park. Tanner and I went on a few rides before heading into the city for some more sight-seeing.
We took another Uber to Crossroads Kitchen, a fancy vegan restaurant in West Hollywood, for dinner. After dinner, we headed down the Walk of Fame to find some of our favourite names.
To finish the night off, we decided it would be awesome to catch a comedy show while we're in the city. Most big places were already sold-out for the night, but we were able to get in last minute for a stand-up show at HAHA Comedy Club in North Hollywood. Even though we had never heard of any of the comedians, it was one of the funniest stand-up shows either of us has ever seen.
