LEAP Week - Day 4: Shurick Agapitov, Kyle Thomas, Rob Dyrdek, and Coaches

Day 4

Today, we started the day with a Q&A with Shurick Agapitov, Founder and CEO of Xsolla, a company that handles payment transactions for many popular gaming sites.

After that, Kyle Thomas spoke to us over zoom about the affects of drunk driving. Kyle was in a near-fatal collision as a teenager that was a result of drinking and driving. Kyle tells his survival story to help teach young teens and adults about accountability, peer pressure, and how a small decision can change everything about your future. It was so powerful hearing from him.

Next, Rob Dyrdek spoke about how he turned a career as a profession skateboarder into being a successful entrepreneur. During free time today, I decided to go down to the UCLA shop where I bought a LOT of books. I didn't really think of how I'll be getting them home, but thats a problem for later.

Finally, a few of our coaches came on stage to give speeches. Mariano Padilla and Zara Ahmad spoke about informational interviewing, Justin Luckner spoke about how to get an internship, and Bella Poll spoke about how to master LinkedIn.
