Day 6

Aly and I woke up after a safe nights sleep in our Oakland hotel. We left Oakland almost immediately once we got out of bed and went into Hayward for coffee and a walk around the town. We had breakfast at Hippie's Brew, a cute cafe in Hayward where I ordered a "Mc'Lovin Muffin" and a "Brown $uga Baby Iced Latte", and they were so delicious! We will definitely have to come back here. We also have a wedding to attend on Sunday and neither of us had any dresses yet, so we went shopping while we were in Hayward as well.

After that, we drove back into San Francisco. I took Aly to see Hippie Hill, before we went for photos with the Golden Gate bridge. We took a few from a hill in the city before heading up to Battery Spencer. Its so cool to be able to walk through and see all the old buildings, and it also has a great lookout and photo spot over the bridge.

Next, we went down to the Fort Point National Historic Site for a few more photos. While we were standing in the parking lot one of the 1970s Volkwagen Bus tours drove by. I LOVE old VW buses, so my jaw visibly dropped and the bus driver started honking at me. It was such an awesome experience, only made better when the bus turned around and I saw that it had the same Ohm symbol I have tattooed on my finger, painted on the trunk-panel.

After we left Fort Point, we went over to the painted ladies, and also found the Full House house. Then we went to Presidio Park, where we spent a few hours walking around and exploring before heading back to the Airbnb for the night. Also just fyi, Don't expect an update tomorrow - We will both be spending Valentine's Day virtually with our partners and then having a girls night in, so we'll see y'all Thursday. Day 7 Edit: I ended up giving Aly a tattoo tonight.
