Backstage Pass to Tennessee - Day 1: Winnipeg, MB -> Newark, NJ -> Cincinnati, OH

Day 1

Today, I flew from Winnipeg to Newark, NJ to meet my best friend Aly. Her and her mom drove from Pennsylvania to pick me up from the airport. I took an Uber from the airport to a nearby Target to make it easier to find each other. When Aly got there she jumped out of the car and we ran to each other, colliding into a hug.

Once we got over the initial shock of actually meeting in person (after years of online friendship), we went into the store to grab coffee, before getting into the car to return to PA.

When we were back in Pennsylvania, we went to Aly's house to take a nap before starting our journey to Nashville. Our goal is to get there as fast as possible, so we'll be taking turns driving, but we both wanted some rest before we started.

Once we got on the road we started out for Pittsburgh, PA, then we drove through Cincinnati, OH, before switching seats for the night. Aly drove for the first day so I'll be driving for the next portion.
