Backstage Pass to Tennessee - Day 5: Franklin -> Seymour
Day 5 Today, we got up early to drive to Franklin, TN for breakfast. We went to Biscuit Love for breakfast and then The Fainting Goat Coffee Co. Then, we drove back to the Nashville airport to drop off Angel and Jorge. I was sad seeing them go, but I'll get to see Angel again next month in Texas, so I'm looking forward to that. After we dropped them off, Aly and I started driving east to Seymour, TN to meet back up with Justin, as well as meet his little sister and our clo

Backstage Pass to Tennessee - Day 4: Exploring Nashville
Day 4 Today, we got up and headed out to The Bookshop, for one of my favourite parts of travelling: book shopping. I found a super cool copy of Alice In Wonderland by Lewis Carol, the Mina Lima illustrated edition. Once we finished up at The Bookshop, we headed into the city for some sight-seeing and photo stops, before returning to the Broadway area. We walked around listening to music for a while before going for dinner. We went to Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa, and it was

Day 3 We all went into the city to explore for the day today. First, we went to The Legendairy Milk Bar. It was so delicious! I got a Mint Chocolate Milkshake with chocolate drizzle and peanuts. After that, we went over to Fifth & Broadway for shopping. I bought some really cute leather boots from Tecovas, and I'm obsessed with them. then, we went back to the Airbnb to eat dinner and get ready for the concert. We arrived at the Bridgestone Arena early and lined up for the

Backstage Pass to Tennessee - Day 2: Cincinnati, OH -> Nashville, TN
Day 2 Aly and I switched spots and I started driving around Cincinnati, OH just after midnight. I drove us through the night from Ohio through Lexington, KY, and into Nashville, TN. Once we got into the city, Aly and I went to the airport to pick up Angel and Jorge. I drove to the airport because Aly and I were planning on surprising Angel. They both invited me on the trip but I originally couldn't make it. Once I found out I could, I told Aly but we decided to keep it from

Central Valley & Bay Area - Day 6: Home Time!
Today, we woke up extremely early, and Angel drove me back to Los Angeles to go to the airport. He has some friends coming for a guys trip in Southern California so it worked out well timing wise to fly back from LA. Once we got to LA, we were still early for my flight, so we went to Santa Monica Pier to explore. We went on a few rides and walked around the pier before heading to the beach for a few minutes. I ran into the ocean. After the beach, we picked up our friends for

Central Valley & Bay Area - Day 5: Guns and Goodbyes
This morning, Angel took me to the shooting range. I had so much fun there! I've never shot a gun before so it was a really cool experience, and I didn't do terribly! I even got to take the target poster with me after. I'm hoping to bring it home with me. After that, we went for boba at BobaBliss with Kaitlyn and Rachel. I'm flying back home tomorrow, so we saw everyone today for goodbyes. After boba, we went to the church again for Wednesday night service. Everyone at Ange

Central Valley & Bay Area - Day 4: Jamestown & Yosemite
This morning, Angel took me to Jamestown, CA. Jamestown was originally a California Gold Rush town, and now its officially designated as a Historical Landmark. We saw a bit of the railroad, explored the town, and did some shopping. I was able to get so many souvenirs while I was there. After we were done walking around, we went to Yosemite National Park. It was so beautiful there. Also the trees in California? Huge! I thought it was just the Sequoias before I came here but

Central Valley & Bay Area - Day 3: San Francisco & San Ramon
Today, Angel and I decided to go to San Francisco to explore the city. His sister, Sarai came too! We started out by going to Golden Gate Park, were I found my new favourite place, Hippie Hill! There's a giant peace sign painted into the sidewalk beside the hill, as well as a bunch of chalk art! After that, we went to the Palace of Fine Arts for some pictures, before walking around the Presidio. There were so many cool statues there! When we were done looking around, we we

Central Valley & Bay Area - Day 1: LA -> Atwater
Day 1 Today, I woke at UCLA after LEAP Week. Normally, today is the day all of the students fly home, but I'm staying in California for an extra week to see my friends! We've been friends for years online but this will be our first time meeting in person. Im a little nervous but mostly just excited. I got my belongings together and took an Uber down to Hollywood Boulevard. I spent a while searching the walk of fame for names I recognized, stopping for photos at Snoop Dogg a
